2007 Garden Tour

Tickets can be purchased online for $55 per person.

Tickets will be held for you at check-in, and the address of check-in will be emailed to you upon your purchase.

The Historical Society will showcase eight estate gardens in the historic Hancock Park, Windsor Square and Brookside sections of Los Angeles on Sunday, June 10, 2007, from 12 noon to 5 pm. The Olive Branches Garden Party offers an opportunity for the community to enjoy private gardens of some of the most prestigious historic homes in Los Angeles.   This year’s tour includes a native California garden, a traditional Mediterranean, and a wonderful cottage garden. It will also feature a backyard natural stream with a stream-side vegetable garden and bridge. There is also a beautiful renovated Craftsman home/garden.  In addition, there is an elegant English country garden in front of a rusticated stone manor with a surprise water garden in the rear.   Tour attendees will feast on food provided by local restaurants and sponsors supporting the event.   All the funds raised will go back to the community to create more green space in Los Angeles.
